On all OCSC Flotillas, we donate 5% of the charter fee from each chartered boat to a worthwhile environmental cause in the host country. Our trip to the British Virgin Islands in November 2004 has designated the British Virgin Islands National Parks Trust as the recipient of our fundraising.
Established in 1961 by the Government of the BVI, the Trust's mission is to preserve the natural beauty and historic features of the territory. 17 National Parks are currently under its management. Their programs include reef protection, reforestation, iguana rehabilitation, bird conservation and local education efforts.
