On Board Since October 2001 OCSC: Why do you sail? JP: Because it's endlessly challengeing and rewarding. OCSC: What do you enjoy about working at OCSC? JP: The opportunity to learn from knowledgeable colleagues and to sail as often as I want. OCSC: What's your sailing background? JP: I learned to sail on Long Island Sound, when I was eight years old, It's been my principle hobby ever since. OCSC: When you're not sailing, what can we find you doing? JP: Reading, playing guitar, riding my bike.
OCSC: What are your top five sailing books of all time? JP: Moby Dick, Billy Budd, and Omoo, by Herman Melville; Post Captain, by Patrick O'Brian; Boat Owner's Mechanical and Electrical Manual, by Nigel Calder.
