JM: This is extremely difficult to answer. There are so many different challenges to the sport. It helps define me. The most important reason is probrably the relationships I've made over the years.

OCSC: What do you enjoy about working at OCSC?

JM: The people I'm affiliated with. This includes both the Staff and the Students.

OCSC: What's your sailing background?

JM: I started sailing in my early 30s. I've owned and raced diferrent boats ranging in size from 13 ft to 73 ft. Much of my sailing has been in and around SF Bay, My experience includes multile races to Hawaii and Mexico races. Also an Atlantic crossing along with East coast and Caribean cruising.

OCSC: When you're not sailing, what can we find you doing?

JM: I Travel, play golf, some bike riding.
