On Board Since May 2004 OCSC: Why do you sail? BK: When you are out on the Bay, your stress melts away. You feel connected to the world. OCSC: What do you enjoy about working at OCSC? BK: Clearly the best thing is being in such a fulfilling environment where people truly appreciate what you do. I value being able to work with top-notch colleagues. OCSC: What's your sailing background? BK: I have been sailing on and off since I was around eight. I got serious about sailing when I started working at OCSC. I sail on the Bay but plan to expand that by going on flotillas and working in different areas of the country. OCSC: When you're not sailing, what can we find you doing? BK: You can most likely find me at home doing, guess what, homework! The rest of my free time is spent playing tennis and golf and trying to get out on the water.
OCSC: What are your top five sailing books of all time? BK: 1) Master and Commander; 2) Klutz Book of Knots (I know this is sad, but deal with it); 3) Sailing for Dummies; 4) Basic Cruising; 5) Always Another Horizon.
