Bareboat Charters for OCSC Members: Yachts 24' to 29' require a Basic Cruising certification from OCSC. Yachts 30' and over require a Bareboat Cruising certification from OCSC. You can earn these certifications by taking classes with us. Experienced sailors also have the option of challenging the certification by taking a Practical and written test. Not an OCSC Member?  Consider a skippered charter On skippered charters, the yacht is charged at the regular charter rate and the skipper is charged at just $75 per hour with a three-hour minimum ($56.25/hour for OCSC members). Every yacht in our fleet is available for charter with a Coast Guard licensed skipper aboard.  Weddings, birthdays, reunions and office parties become unique and memorable events when combined with a sail on beautiful San Francisco Bay.
