Onboard since 2004 OCSC: What sailing experience did you have before you came to OCSC?
AS: I had just sailed on Hobie Cats in Brittany, France. OCSC: What do you like about sailing? AS: It clears my mind, it lets me be in contact with the water, get away from everything and enjoy nature in the company of others. OCSC: What brought you to OCSC? AS: I wanted to sail on the Bay so I did an internet search and found OCSC. When I stopped by to check things out, I had a great welcome by Antonia. It made me want to join! OCSC: Why did you decide to become a member? AS: So I could charter the boats in the fleet! OCSC: What sailing goals do you have? AS: I've just finished Coastal Navigation. My boyfriend and I now plan to take Coastal Passagemaking and then go to charter in the British Virgin Islands, the Seychelles and the Mediterranean. OCSC: What do you do when you're not sailing? AS: I race on Nixon was Cool, a J/24 out of Treasure Island… wait a minute, that's still sailing isn't it! I also hike and play tennis!"
