OCSC's "Seamanship III" seminar/study hall Seamanship III is the third of a three-part seamanship series where you'll learn many advanced seamanship concepts needed for skippering in the popular charter destinations around the Bay, California and the world. Topics covered: Bareboat charter planning and provisioning Setting your crew up for success (managing expectations, shipboard routine, anticipating problems) Gracefully handling the eternal balance between the need for democracy and the need for leadership on board with friends Advanced anchoring techniques Do's and don'ts of chartering Picking up and dropping moorings safely Dinghy handling, boarding, and towing
