Farallon Islands Circumnavigation

Transform a regular workday into the adventure of a lifetime. Grab a cup of coffee and then head to OCSC for a 7 am continental breakfast on board Seaward, a beautiful 82' classic schooner, and then raise the sails with a cheery OCSC crew. The waters will typically be at their calmest as we head out through the Gate towards the Farallon Islands -- that's your time to get to know Seaward and chat with her crew.

We'll spend a few hours circling the islands -- 25 miles offshore -- observing the wildlife and then savoring a hearty lunch onboard. We'll sail back with a stiff westerly breeze on our backs, back through the Golden Gate, and then home again to the OCSC dock by around 7 pm.

The Farallon National Wildlife and Wilderness Refuge is home to a stunning seabird colony, so you'll likely see not just gulls but puffins, petrels, cormorants, and common murres. Seals and sea lions laze on the rocks, and if the timing is right, whales will breach right beside the boat.
And we think a day on the open water and getting up close and personal with ocean wildlife is a pretty great way to say, "Job well done." We bet your team will, too!
