OCSC's Sail Repair Seminar: "The Nature and Nurture of Sails"
Presented by North Sails
Who better to learn about the design, construction, maintenance and repair of sails from than North Sails, the world's leading sail maker? From materials and sail handling systems to UV and chafe protection, this is a "don't miss" opportunity for any conscientious sailor. In addition to a presentation on sail design and construction, there will also be demonstrations on routine sail inspections and minor repairs. Wrapping up the evening, recommendations will be made on books and online materials that you can use in the future as resources.
